Java Strictfp Keyword

    Strictfp Keyword

    Java uses the strictfp keyword that allows you to provide the same result every time on every platform when you are performing functions by using a floating-point variable. The precision usually varies from platform to platform, to overcome this problem java introduces the usage of strictfp keyword in order to get the same result without any precision gap.

    You can apply the strictfp keyword on methods,classes and interfaces and cannot be applied for abstract methods, variables and constructors. Below are the syntax-

    strictfp class A{} //for class

    strictfp interface M{} //for interface
    class A{

    strictfp void m(){} //for method

    }
